Before I start my topic for today, I want to say that since I can't blog until
I'm premium, I am doing daily board topics. This is as close as I can get to
blogging until I can blog which will probably be sometime in the beginning of
November as I plan to get my premium membership on the first and it takes
a few days to go through. Once I can blog, I do not think the daily board
posts will stop, maybe I just won't be doing them as much, but they will
probably will be in addition to blogging. Anyways, here goes my topic.
I am currently reading a book called After by Amy Efaw. It's about a 15-
year-old girl named Devon who has a baby and throws her baby in a
garbage can. Devon is in denial that she was pregnant. She has to go to
jail. I don't want to go into too much detail in case any of you wants to
read it. I'm at the part where it's her first full day at the juvenile center
and she is in class writing a poem with words the teacher puts on the
blackboard and she doesn't know what to write. BARD has it, and that is
how I am reading this book.
hmm, wait she's 15 and is pregnant? yeah... that story isn't for me.
That sounds very familiar. I can't remember if I've read it or not but I'll check it out.
Yeah you really should it's a page turner. I finished the book but I don't
wanna talk about the ending in case anyone wants to read it.
oh crap..wow..I can't believe someone would do that to a baby! OMGOSH!!
I know that is sick!
